The United Way story
United Way of the Lower Mainland’s influence spans Metro Vancouver, the Sea to Sky corridor, and the Sunshine Coast. We’ve been helping people for over 85 years. We are experts in our field, conducting research, identifying trends, and collaborating to address social issues.

United Way’s work is focused on three main areas: helping kids be all they can be, building strong communities, and moving families from poverty to possibility.

We also manage two provincial programs: the children’s program Success By 6, and the seniors program Better at Home.
