A Loaned Representative is an employee loaned by their organization to United Way for 16 weeks to assist with fundraising for the United Way annual workplace campaign.
Loan us your best ‐ develop your employee's skills and enhance your organization's community profile. Every year, as part of the Loaned and Sponsored Representative Program, community-minded organizations loan an employee to United Way of the Lower Mainland.
Employees return to their organizations with a host of new and upgraded skills. Organizations benefit from this and positive public exposure throughout the Lower Mainland.
Program runs Fall 2011. For more information please contact Tina Campbell at 604.294.8929 ext. 2278.
Unable to loan an employee? Sponsor a representative.
Organizations can support the United Way campaign and sponsor a representative for a cost of $9,000. A Sponsored Representative plays the same role as a Loaned Representative and is usually someone in career transition or university/college co-op student looking for valuable professional development and networking opportunities. Anyone can apply to United Way to be a sponsored representative.
Build your resume while helping your community! United Way of the Lower Mainland welcomes Volunteer Representatives willing to donate their time for 16 weeks. This program is integral to the United Way campaign and helps provide funds to improve lives throughout 24 communities in the Metro Vancouver region.
Kathryn Young, a Partner with Odgers Berndtson, is one of our very loyal supporters: 2011 is the 15th campaign for Odgers Berndtson with United Way of the Lower Mainland. The firm supports the Loaned and Sponsored Representative Program.
