Last year, your charitable donations to the United Way of the Lower Mainland annual campaign funded about 160 agencies delivering over 500 programs to help children get a good start in life, to grow up healthy, happy and resilient and to help seniors stay independent and engaged in our community. Together, we are changing lives and helping those in need throughout Metro Vancouver.
In 2010, United Way of the Lower Mainland Community Campaign raised over $29.5 million.
United Way invested in 97 organizations that used funds to deliver 212 programs and initiatives for young children, their families, and communities in which they live.
United Way invested in 73 organizations that used funds to deliver 142 programs and initiatives for children age 6-12.
United Way invested in 58 organizations that used funds to deliver 109 programs and initiatives benefitting seniors and their caregivers.
Over 51,000 donors and numerous volunteers from over 1,000 organizations across our community joined together to strengthen our community. Thank you.
