An Elegant Evening of Fashion and Philanthropy!

On February 28, United Way’s Women United in Philanthropy celebrated Leone’s 25th anniversary with an evening of fashion and fundraising.

Highlights from the night included a fantastic performance by rising star Cody Karey and a Leone fashion show with a preview of next season’s hottest trends. There was also a live auction with bidders snatching up tickets to Milan’s Fashion Week, an exclusive Versace handbag and a Neil Diamond concert box experience.

The event’s MC was Pamela Martin, Director of Outreach, Office of the Premier, and over 200 people attended including Vancouver’s fashion elite. Money raised from the event will fund programs through United Way’s Success By 6 initiative, which helps ensure vulnerable children throughout the Lower Mainland enter kindergarten ready to succeed.
