United Way Public Policy Institute Application Form

Please ensure that you complete all components of the application detailed below. Make sure to atttach both a letter of support and your resume. Once you have done so, just click on the "submit" button at the end of the form and it will automatically be sent in and you should see a notice thanking you for submitting your application.

This online application form needs to be completed in one sitting. You will lose all your entered information if you get out of this online application form before completing and submitting it. It is strongly recommended that you carefully read all the information regarding sessions schedule, "who should enroll", and other Public Policy Institute details on United Way’s Public Policy Institute webpage before you start filling this application form.

Application Deadline: Friday, September 30, 2011 at 4:00 PM

All applicants will be notified on or before Monday, October 31, 2011. Please note that each admitted participant will be required to pay a $500 materials fee at registration, but that tuition as well as travel and accommodations will be subsidized by United Way.

Please attach a letter of support from either the Chief Executive or Chair of the Board of your organization (.pdf or .doc format). Participation in the Public Policy Institute will require 2 days per month to attend the sessions, and approximately an additional 2-3 days per month to undertake a public policy project within your organization. The letter the organization attached here should at least include a statement of support for the time commitment required as well as an indication that the public policy project proposed by the applicant is strategically relevant to the organization:
