Community Partner Promotion and Recognition

When we join together to help others, we make our neighbourhoods and our community stronger.

We need to show that we are working together to change the future. To fully leverage the power of the partnership between UWLM and your organization, United Way must be appropriately recognized and promoted in your communication materials. We also urge you to share your successes with us, so that we can inspire donors and potential donors.

United Way and funded organizations are committed to:

  • a community social service sector in which organizations are effective, efficient, accessible and coordinated
  • ensuring that together we are relevant and responsive to changing community issues and needs
  • expanding the overall level of philanthropic support to the continuum of community social services
  • maintaining and enhancing donor confidence that funds are being used effectively and efficiently to bring about positive community change
  • working towards long term, systemic and collective approaches to achieving community outcomes
  • building community capacity
