United Way is pleased to partner with Reading Tree, an organization supporting children's literacy by collecting and redistributing used books to kids.
Reading Tree places and maintains book collection bins in commnities across British Columbia. Over the next year, Reading Tree will distribute donated books to many of the programs currently supported by United Way across the Lower Mainland.
You can help by donating your unwanted books to any one of the over 200 blue Reading Tree book bins displaying the United Way logo. All types of books are accepted - children's, adult, hardback and paperback. Unusable books will be recycled.
