A community’s success depends on the people who live in it. And United Way needs great people to make a difference in our communities. Join United Way’s team of over 5,000 volunteers and help us strengthen our community's capacity to address social issues. Below are some of the volunteer opportunities now available.
Inspire your co-workers to get involved in their community. Initiate and execute exciting events. Be the catalyst to raise resources for your community. Employees in organizations across the Lower Mainland give back to United Way by running fundraising campaigns that raise awareness and resources through their employee and corporate teams. This is our area of greatest need for volunteers.
If you work for an organization currently running a United Way Campaign, get your feet wet by joining the committee as a Campaign Representative. Talk to your organization’s Employee Campaign Chair to get involved. Not sure who to talk to at your organization about getting involved? Contact us.
If your workplace does not currently run a United Way Campaign, lead the way to community change by becoming a Campaign Chair! We will support you along the way to get your corporate leaders and coworkers on board and show you how to run a successful campaign.

Get the ultimate crash course in community development, fundraising, public speaking and networking. Learn valuable new skills during a fun, action-packed 16-week work term and help United Way raise funds to support over 500 programs and initiatives across the Lower Mainland.
