Behind all our work, there are people like you who get involved in big and small – but always significant – ways to ensure a better future for kids, families and seniors in our community.

Bring United Way Into Your Workplace

Each year, more than 540 workplaces across the Lower Mainland run their own United Way employee giving campaigns. These campaigns inspire donors to support our community’s most vulnerable, including those living in poverty, and raise much-needed funds that benefit children, families and seniors.

Workplace campaigns provide a fun and impactful way to bring your employee teams together.

Host a speaker at your workplace or event who can talk about United Way’s impact in our community. They show just how your support has changed lives. Speakers include community members who have received help, volunteers, and more.

Every day across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, United Way volunteers make our community a better place to live.

More than 10,000+ volunteers choose to give back through United Way every year, through innovative volunteer opportunities, events and campaigns. Donating your time and talents can create a lasting change in our community – and in people’s lives.

More ways to get involved

Become a Campaign Associate

Every year local organizations and unions generously sponsor or “loan” employees to raise funds through United Way campaigns. Not only do Campaign Associates save United Way administrative costs, they also each raise an estimated $500,000 each! Campaign Associates in turn receive 16 weeks of professional development, accredited by BCIT. Ask any of our alumni – It’s an experience you will never forget.
